I purchased these boots from Amazon May 26, 2015. I have only worn them maybe ten times. Something has happened in a layer beneath the toe that has caused a crease that puts pressure on my toes and forward part or my foot. This crease has occurred in both boots, left and right. The crease is very pronounced and makes the boot unwearable.

This is a fine solid boot that you could wear all day long but it does take a lot longer to break into these boots. I have been wearing this boot daily for about two weeks and walk on an average 4 miles each day but only now does it feel like its has been broken in.

I ordered the recommended size in wide but the fit is a bit snug.

Overall I'm satisfied with the quality of the boot because it appears to be well built.

Edit:

After having these boots for three months, I'm revising my opinion on these boots. When I first had them they fit me a bit snug, which isn't unusual for new boots and I expected them to loosen up over a period of time but that hasn't happened. It has remained tough and has become even more uncomfortable than before. My ankles were always strained and it put undue stress on my hamstring. It was getting worse so I stopped wearing them.

These boots are already quite big and bulky and not sure if you should be ordering a size larger than your natural size. Even if you do, you'll still have to deal with the tough ankle support part of the boots.

Overall: Not recommended. Too tough and the boots never broke in. Seems like it's made of steel. Very sturdy though.
